Women Don't Know Bras Are Hurting Their Breasts!
Hi, I'm Jane and this is my lovely husband and my lovely son Jason. I am so blessed fulfilled to have such a happy family and won't give it up for anything else in the world.
I wake up at 6am every morning to prepare Jason for school and return home for housework. By the time I am done with housework its time to pick Jason up and he can be quite demanding for attention throughout the day. Thankfully my understanding husband helps me out with Jason at night so I can have some rest before our night activities.
Marriage is fulfilling and at the same time it also makes me wish I had more time for myself. I have not bought any underwear for myself in the last 2 years! My bra wires are poking into my breasts and the straps are digging into my shoulders.
Lately my friends were sharing with me on their latest purchases, a LaxBra. Kathy claims that my bra is hurting me! What nonsense. I have been wearing my bra for ages. And then Kathy started showing me all these research. I was mostly uninterested, but I did notice Kathy seems to be more confident than her usual self. This strapless backless bra that DID NOT PROVIDE SUPPORT instead seems to be functioning similarly to her previous underwire bra with straps.
"Wearing a bra has no medical necessity whatsoever", says Susan M. Love, M.D in her book 'Dr. Susan Love's Breast'. This is similar to the myth that women supposedly need corsets to support their stomach muscles.
In a 5-year study by Ryan EL, large-breasted women removed the weight of breasts from their shoulders for two weeks, either by going braless or by wearing a strapless bra. Only one woman chose a strapless bra and all the others went braless. [1]
The researchers monitored the women for muscle pain and tenderness. After the study, 79% of patients decided to remove breast weight from the shoulder permanently because it rendered them symptom free!
"Bras are unhealthy for women," says researchers at LaxBra.
Is there a woman who hasn't stepped out of her home without a bra on?
"The whole idea of women being over reliant on bras, that women should always take actions to improve their health, is what we really believe in," said researchers at LaxBra, who pared down their own bra collections to just a few items. Products from LaxBra do not consists of any under wires or straps.
"These really makes my breast feel unrestricted," says researchers at LaxBra, "because there are no wires poking into my ribs or straps digging into my shoulders, they promote better breast health."
The products come in a transparent travel and storage case, and are all made with medical grade adhesive that is safe to use on most regular skin. There's a fabric bra available in black and nude for matching with different colored outfits; a silicone bra for a more invisible look; a padded enhanced bra for a more fuller look; a silicone nipple pasties for a totally bra free experience. Whatever occasion you have, this bra works.
The bras start from $29 each and sold only on their website.
"We are the only company that is pro-health, not pro-fashion." says researchers from LaxBra, who thinks that many women put too much energy into looking better while neglecting their health.
Professor Jean-Denis Rouillon, a sports medicine specialist from Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Besancon in Besancon, France, published a study that shows that wearing bras may not prevent women's breasts from sagging, and may in fact increase it.
"Our first results confirm the hypothesis that the bra is a false need," says Professor Rouillon. "Medically, physiologically, anatomically, the breast does not benefit from being deprived of gravity. Instead, it languishes with a bra."
The 15-year study involved 330 volunteers between the ages 18 and 35. Researchers measured their breasts using a slide ruler and a caliper and recorded any changes throughout the study period.
Women who did not wear bras had a 7 millimeter lift as measured from their nipples each year. Their breasts were also firmer, and their stretch marks faded.
"Wearing regular bras prevented the growth of breast tissue, which lead to deterioration of the muscles that support the breasts." says researchers at LaxBra. "If you wear an adhesive bra without straps, wires and bands, the muscles are worked-out more."
"We believe that everyone should be treated with respect, and women should feel confident and comfortable to go bra-less whenever they want." says LaxBra.
"We help women be healthier by using bras without the straps and wires, and then slowly help them transit to a bra-less life".
"If you are not perfectly comfortable to go bra-less immediately, at least wear bras with minimal support, so you can slowly build up the strength of the muscles supporting your breast." researchers at LaxBra recommends.
That was enough for me to buy one myself. The shipment took 4 days to arrive for my D size LaxBra to arrive. I wrote in to enquire about the shipping and they responded with a personalized response on the same day assuring me that I would receive my bra soon. I expect personalized customer service from all trusted brands.
I had to quickly put it on to see why Kathy was so excited over this. Right on the first try it wasn't working the way I thought it would. I dropped Kathy a call and she told me to read the instructions (Forgetful sometimes...) The instructions was simple to follow and within minutes I was feeling better about myself. There was that comfort and uplift I simple did not expect from a adhesive bra. I could move around freely, as if a load was lifted off my shoulders. Good bye strap and wire monsters!
This bra does not work well for my highly active friends who require a high level of support for their breasts. On the contrary it works perfectly for my backless dresses i now have confidence to wear. I love Kathy!
Confidence I never felt before returning. That was a nice plus to the comfort I had. Time to shop for more clothes =)
This bra requires cleaning on the adhesive side though to ensure it can last longer than their recommended 60 uses. I got some cleaning swabs for hygiene reasons and clean them every time after wearing.
I wish there was someone who could just help to resolve all my bra issues forever. The LaxBra Team comes really close to that. (That's why I'm writing this) They take a pro-family approach and aims to treat every customer just like their parents. LaxBra conducts regular customer studies aimed at baby boomers to understand their unique needs during aging. I wish I could get instant live chat, but I am willing to wait 1-2 days for a quality personalized response to my unique problems.
I trust LaxBra to provide intimate wear solutions and hope you can get the same pro-family experience I have received from the LaxBra Family.
